RE: For your viewing pleasure.
It was an interesting story, but I have some questions. With all the people out there that have "the right way" to breakin a new motor, how does a person like myself know which is the better method? I am not a mechanic, so I don't have the opportunity to see the motor from the insides to see the good, the bad, and the ugly of the insides of the cylinders. If I read and listened to all the accepted ways to break in a new motor, I would probably just get confused. That's why I just follow what my HD mechanic says and keep it simple. I wish that I did know the right way because of all the money that I have invested in my Harley, that's why I just go by the manual and if something goes wrong, I can contact the mechanic and see what's wrong.
