Default Oil question

Hi,
I took my 09 softail for a ride today. When I got home I pulled the oil dipstick out of the oil tank. I noticed little clear brown bubbles on the dipstick and on top of the oil in the tank. My question is are the bubbles normal when hot, the dealer said it was. I just wanted to ask you guys. Its something I never noticed before . The oil was changed 1300 miles ago.
Thanks

My '09 looks the same, though I was curious to see how little oil drained out when I changed it. Seems it should have been more, how much drained out of yours?

The foam or bubble thing is normal. As the oil is pumped back to the reservoir it experiences a pressure drop intern causing foaming. This is the reason for anti foam additives.
I use a Scavenger kit on my bikes and you’ll be surprised how much is left in the bike during changes.

Did you drain the oil tank or just the crank case? If you drain just the crank case, very little oil will come out. You should drain both.
