Default riding boots........any advice?

I'm looking at getting a pair of riding boots. Something around 6" or 8" black leather. Most of my riding is around town with short day trips now and then. I want a work boot style with laces. How are the ones with both laces and an inside zipper? I know that if I have to spend time lacing up an 8" boot I won't ware them much. Any thoughts?

Go to Leatherup.com. You'll find what you need, and they're pretty reasonably priced.

I don't usually push HD stuff, but I bought a pair of their new "Hawkins" waterproof boots, and they are the most comfortable riding boots I've ever owned, and I've had a few.

I have some HD boots. (Hustins) Not happy with them at all. I am in no way a foot dragger, yet the soles wear real fast. They look fine, hopefully I can get them resoled.
