Default The wonders of a spoke brush...

I've had my DNA mammoth wheels for nearly a year. I was at the dealer last week and noticed that they have a spoke brush. A real wood handle and the bar and shield on it and all. Well, I was not going to pay $14.95 for a spoke brush. So I stopped at Auto Zone after the dealer and discovered they have spoke brushes for $3. Mind you I was not aware there was such a thing as a spoke brush. Never even thought about it but I have spent countless hours cleaning my spokes without a brush. So, I set to work washing the bike. Sprayed down the wheels with water, then a clenaer and scrubbed them with the spoke brush which has extremely soft bristles so they do not scratch.

The results were amazing and the time for cleaning the wheels was greatly reduced. I am so glad I discovered the spoke brush, which almost remind me of a toilet brush. My weheels will now always be spotless.

Toilet brushes work just as good. Just take the big chunks of chit off them first....

I stole the wife's toilet brush and used it before. I find the spoke brush worked better. Needless to say the toilet brush is hidden out in the garaged now. Maybe I forgot to clean it off. LOL

I got a soft brush that is about 6" in diameter. I goes on my drill. At the end it has a brush tip. I'll have to look at the brand, but that thing rocks on the spokes. The bristles kinda fold back and I can shove it everywhere.
