my 08 vivid black streetglide is "buckwheat" dammit. a reference to eddie murphy when he played the role of buckwheat on saturday night live, back when it was worth watching.

I named mine Blurple. I usually name all my vehicles. Some names come easy, and some never get names. Blurple was easy though. She is black, blue, and purple. Therefore, Blurple.

After living and working in S.E. Asia for quite a number of years I call my '96 FLSTN "ChowMei", which with affection means "smelly sister" in Taiwanese. Seems to fit well sometimes.

My (then) 6 y.o. son named our 1999 Mitsubishi Pajero 4x4 "Gripper"-- he just came up with it out of the blue one day and it stuck...

I like that and understand the time factor.
I have a 1996 '62 reissue Fender Stratocaster named "Daphne", because she is Daphne Blue colour.

I've never named any of my bikes but for those on the forum looking for a name I think Howard would be cool.
