How many of you name your bike?

My bike and my wife's bike both have two names...I call my Deuce "my bike" and her 1200C "your bike", amazingly she has exactly opposite she calls hers "my bike" and calls mine "your bike". Ditto on the cars. We have a dog and we agreed to one name for her. John

Not only does she have a name, but a nickname, too!
The name is Lindsay, in honor of a friend that passed away in a motorcycle accident.
The nickname is The Black Bastard. I kind-of stole this nickname from Bandit from Bandit's Bikernet. In the "Road King Report" series (from 2002), where he builds a blacked-out Road King to ride to Sturgis, Bandit comments that he "wants a tough bastard" to ride for years to come. He also said this, which sold me on the blacked-out look: "One more reason for the blacked out look. Since this bike will be ridden regularly, I want it to be easy to clean, and have nothing on it to polish. No show bike and easy to touch up. Black will do the job." ...My sentiments exactly!
