Naming appropriately is tough, took us weeks to settle on the kid's names. The bike I call Picabo after the famous skier whose parents couldn't think of a name for her.

Mine got the nickname of "Phred" this summer while on vacation. I'm still not sure how we came up with that one but it stuck.

I named my Fat Boy "Ol Chub" because, well, it's a Fat Boy and I love microbrew beer, one of which is called "Old Chub." I may just have to put an Old Chub can on my oil filter next time I get a sixer of it.

My 01 Lowrider is "Hell Bitch". I had a run in with some gravel executing a sharp left turn up a hill at Hanchey Army Airfield at Ft Rucker. Back tire broke loose and I had to choose between a guard rail and laying her down. I laid her down as gently as possible at about 7-10 mph. About $500 in scratched up chrome, broke a hinge cover off my Nolan flip face / full face helmet, bruised my ***, and a whole bunch of damage to my ego. I cussed, parked and walked into the platoon area feeling like a total dumb ****. I told my Instructor Pilot, "my bike took a bite outta me". He asked if I wanted to sit out that day. I said no and flew a crappy flight period.

Few weeks later I'm watching Lonesome Dove and Tommy Lee Jones (Woodrow F Call) gets thrown from spirited mare he's trying to break. The horse then bites him on the *** and draws blood....... the mare's name is Hell Bitch. Later he gives Hell Bitch to his son.

My 09 RG has no name to date. I tried one on her but it just didn't stick. Definitely not planning to replicate the naming process!!
