Anybody who's been to an Eagles game help me out? Taking my grandson to watch the Cowboys get stomped, on Sunday night. The game's at 8:20. How early can I get there, park, and get into the stadium before the game? We're getting to town pretty early, and although I know a bunch of better places for a cheesesteak, he wants to go up the street, to Tony Luke's because we saw it on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives! Never been to an NFL game so not sure how early we can get in. Thanks.

 

For evening games the place is a zoo. I am not sure what time they will let you into the Stadium, but people show up pretty much anytime they want as far as parking is concerned. I don't know Tony Luke's but in my opinion Geno's falls far short as far as cheese steaks go.

I agree. I've been to 'em all. Tony Luke's, Pat's, Geno's, and swore up & down I'd never go back! Let them get the tourists! Tony Luke's is on E. Oregon, over near 95, not far from the stadium. My favorite cheesesteaks are actually down near you. LaSpada's, on 452 in Aston, and Concord Pike Steak Shop, on 202, just before you get into DE. We're going early, so we'll just hang around down there for awhile. Thanks.

 

Next time you are down our way try Claymont steaks on Philadelphia Pike, just off 495. Excellent cheese steak, no cheese whiz!!!!!

 

just remember septa is on strike. we use to get there at 10am for a night game
might be worth parking and grab a cab.
