Pit Bull vs, J & S Lifts
#31
On my J&S, when you turn the screws to lift the jack of the wheels so it doesn't roll, the the jack still moves across the concrete. The little rubber boots come right off, and the screw gouges the concrete floor. Otherwise, nice jack, but expensive. And, like I said it won't sit still - it takes off across the floor.

I took a 45 min ride and picked up my pitbull at their store/manufacturing facility earlier this year. Things I noticed right off the bat;
Jack height was awesome.....its almost like working off a Handy lift.
Sturdy as all hell.
Easy to move loaded or unloaded.
Expensive.
Worth it?
YES!

It takes off across the floor because it rolls so easily...that's a good thing. As for expensive - after buying a $20,000 bike, paying $300 for an American made jack is diddly squat!

Well, more like $400 with shipping, but you're right - it is a good product. I spoke with the owner and he said they are working on a replacement for the little rubber things on the screws that ome right off on the floor - perhaps something phenolic.
