Awesome Ozark Ride... Awesome Chaps!
Man... weather was near PERFECT! Still some fall colors left to be seen.
Wife and I took the Deuce on one of our favorite routes to eat some good food at Oark, AR. While stopped at Turners Bend we started chit-chatting with three couples that motored in. (They were from east Texas, they were.) Seems they were hungry and asked about a good place to eat. We said told them about the excellent ride and scenery on Hwy 215 to the Oark General Store. They asked "how do we get there?"... we said "follow us!".
Got them there safe and sound and good food enjoyed by all.
Leaving Oark, Wife and I took Hwy 103 south out of Oark and saw some SPECTACULAR foliage and mountain scenery. It was an epic day.
OH.... and about the chaps...
Last time we went HD riding... the weather was a bit on the nippy side. Wife got chilled a time or two... legs mainly. I said she ought to try a pair of chaps. I told her I intended to get my unused pair down from the closet shelf and cut 'em to fit and try them myself. I said I would be happy to buy her a set.
Sooo... we went to a local store and purchased her some.
Next morning we were suiting up to leave, and it was time to trim her chaps. She had decided to wear her riding boots that have a bit of heel on them, and wanted me to trim accordingly. Well, I did my duty and did a nice job of trimming. Then she put them on again for the "look see". Fit great. Trimmed the right length... then she turned around...
... No WONDER you guys like to see your woman in a set of chaps!!!
Needless to say, I was quite proud of her at the little stops we made along the way!!! Like a fine wine... she's gettin' better with age!
Viva Poserdom and buttless chaps!!!

I've rolled on those same roads many times in years past, and it don't get much better than that. ........... And chaps, yeah they are good too.

Pics please. Not the mountains - the rear view of the chaps!
Maybe I can capture some nice pics next ride and get the "okay" to post.
