Default headlight changes

Greetings again....while riding tonight on a lonesome road (where I could actually use high beam) I noticed that, although the light really gets out wide-very nice, the light straight ahead seems more diffuse than in low beam....so I found myself using low beam all the time. I'm not sure if this is an optical illusion or an actuality, but I was more comfortable with low beam. Seems there should be a light with optimum elements of both. Any experience (happy experience) with aftermarket lights? Just get over it and be happy? Quitchurbitchin'? thanks in advance

I switched out to a PIAA bulb on my FB and the results are quite noticeable. Kinda pricey (~$50), but they really light up the road.

Your headlight might be aimed a little high. Next time you're out riding where you can stop and adjust the light, try using your fist and moving the headlight up or down to see if you get better light.

"Kinda pricey (~$50),"

Good lights or Band-Aides...

You're going to "Pay" one way or the other...

I vote for the good lights!

Jim aka kiltiemon (You can put just about any light on just about any bike with the proper initiative!)
