I am hands on kind guy when it come to nipples.
checked mine in the spring had some that didn't ting very well, more like a thung. now they ting. really didn't even knowed they makeum...

They make a torque wrench for that now??? Got a link or pic?

For the average rider it looks like a waste of money. How often are you going to use it ?

i just bought one from fasst co its very nice. i haven't used it yet but i will.

Man that thing is a lot more expensive that I thought it would be. For a second I thought about getting one but I don't think I would use it enough to warrant the price. Gonna have to think about this some more.

I've laced many a wheel street and dirt years ago, and for just regular maintenance I really can't see the torque spoke wrench would work for me,,, would take forever doing it that way I would think, but I've never used one so I can't say for sure. If it was me I would get a nice set of posse spoke wrenches that you like the style of, and save some bucks, replacement jaw 12.95 for the torque, really pricey, I like a set that has some meat on them and doesn't round off the nipples easily. I also use the sound method along with spin check for trueness and roundness.

its really uneeded because if your just serviving your spoke nipple for a laced wheel for the season to ride you should be good with just a spoke wrench but if you a technician or upcoming technicain like myself it would benifit the cause because your going to get more use out of it then if you were just doing minor routine checks
