No offense to the original poster...but......under the leather jacket thread, someone made the comment that the HD Nevada jacket is nice, but you "Pretty much see them everywhere"

Could the same not be said about Black Harleys? I mean really......

To be a biker is not just someone that rides a bike.....it is a lifestyle.....now I am no 1%'er....but I consider myself a biker....I bought a HD jacket because I knew that there would be no compromise in quality.....and when that jacket is all that stands between your *** and the pavement.....I dont mind coughing up the coin.....

I have an HD jacket too. I bought it cuz I like it.

 

I bought a new H-D jacket because it was a lot better than my old one. No mildew, no funky smell, no broken zipper, no torn pocket, it had armore padding were it would be needed, and most of all, it fits. Can't believe I've put on that much weight.

 

If you want your jacket to be different, get a lot of patches from out of the way places. Otherwise live with the fact that someone will probably have your jacket, your T-shirt, your color ride (and model). Don't really matter to me that my Bob is more common than belly lint. I got it cuz I like the looks and the ride.

I would not pass up Salma Hayek just b/c someone cloned her many times (see previous sentence for reason).

 

I'm with ya on the Salma Hayek as well! Damm thats one fine a$$ woman. She may be a tad Latino...but she can eat crackers in my bed ANY day!

And to stay on topic, I plan on getting the standard black Harley jacket. No way do I want something inferior between me and the hot tarmac.

 

the bike and the parts are one thing but apparel cannot be put in the same class just because they put an eagle and hd on it

 

I agree with Steve.

 

I like when I run into someone with the same bike as mine. Get to check out their mods, talk about their experiences, etc.
Don't know about jackets...but I'm the only one wearing a black tee and jeans.
