I ride a 2000 Wide Glide and need more legroom. I have forward controls but I am looking at the Kurykan Swingwing pegs. Has anyone tried them?

I don't know about the pegs you mentioned, but I believe Harley (and several other aftermarket places) have extensions of various sizes for your forward controls.
