I've never seen saddlebags on a bicycle before. Draped over tiny rear fender.

Not knocking it, and it's probably nowhere close to being "new"......just amusing enough to snap a shot of it(wish I got a better/closer one)


Anybody seen before?

I've seen it a lot with cyclists that tour or commute to work.

It was about 39 there at 7am. probley 42, 43 in Nashville where he was.

 

Ride the Alcan! You'll see these guys with saddlebags on the front and rear and pulling a trailer ............ I met two guys who were riding from Prudhoe Bay to the southernmost tip of South America. They had solar panels on top of their trailers to allow them to upload pictures and a diary to their blog. They said they rode about 100 miles a day.

 

Plenty of junk in the trunk!

 

weather has nothing to do w/ it.

45 min ride to work and park in crappy area, in an uncovered/un-gated parking lot literally a half mile from my office downtown(starting last week) Yeah-NOPE. I won't be riding to work as much going forward.
