OT......
Jon, I had reinforced transparent oil lines on a Triumph custom many years ago. I had dyed them with Ritz laundry dye, the regular type you find at the local market. There are many colors to choose from. Just boil the water add the dye and let the tubing set for a while.

Calm down Skip remember that bad word is only on the screen and is not and is not just outside ready to cover you’re bike all up when you’re not looking . Go with polished stainless steel I think it looks better and will last just about forever.

Probably 10 times more durable than if a plating shop did em. Same process, just increased the time so the thickness increases. Regular triple plate is roughly .0003" to .0005", mine are probably around .001" (mostly copper) but the nickel layer is double the normal thickness, and so is the chrome.
