As a girl largey solo rider I get a lot of stares ect.
Some of my favorites include one day outside of my office a guy came up to me. He said I have been trying to figure out who was riding the hot bike to the office. Nice to know it is you makes it better.
Another one was a girl dragging her dad runs up at a starbucks asking me about my bike says it is really pretty. Dad says baby when are you getting your harley she says DAD you know I am getting one when I am 16. She was like 9. He says I ride and she decided really young she was getting her own when can get her license.
I also love when kids point at me and my bike.

I was headed to the bike after a toy run many years ago, and saw a 1st place ribbon hanging on the handlebars. My ex and I walked up and I said, what's this?
A huge guy standing near said it was for Best Bike Rider's Choice.
That was on my 86 FXSTC.

My favorite "compliment" was from a girl who liked my bike so much that she insisted on taking me home for the weekend. She gave me several "compliments" that weekend, including a couple while sitting on my bike in her garage.

anyone ever paid you about your bike;
I was riding down the local drag in early summer, trying to time the red lights
so I could stop at all of them (ha ha), you all know how that goes. Anyway,
I noticed as I cruised to the next light, an older man in a Lincoln Town Car would
come driving up real slow on my right just checking out my BadBoy. After about
four or so lights, he rolls down his window and tells me, "Son, that is the most
beautiful bike I have ever saw". Man, you talk about puffing up someone's ego.

Far and away the best was riding my 9 year old grand daughter. Pulling alongside family vans or station wagons at lights and seeing the reaction of the kids in the back. The blank, drooling looks on their faces and the pride on my grand daughters face. Priceless!

Mine was from an older guy probably in his 80's when I pulled into a Supermarket parking lot. Pulled in and parked the bike and noticed him sitting in his car next to me gawking at the bike. Funny thing was I wasn't on the Harley but was on my R1 (fully custom track bike).
Anyway he smiled and said it was one of the most beautiful bikes he'd ever seen and commented "If I was 30 years younger I'de love to have one". I pulled off my FF helmet to show him I'm fully grey haired and in my mid-fifties myself and his jaw dropped.
Few pics of the bike...

love the waves from the ladies, but my favorite coment was from a older couple in a new BMW convertable at a stoplight, he said.." I'm not believen this, a knuckle in a swingarm.. thats so cool " they smiled and off they went.
