It depends on the bike I think. I did mine on an FXST. Added a windshield, a bag to lean against, and sheep skin.

I have a EG Standard now and added Klock Werks 2+ bars and an adjustable rider's backrest.

The IBA forum has a a lot of great info.

atta-boy.

the 1000, and 1500mi rides were good starters as an introduction to endurance rideing, and a step towards the real challenges, CC-50 and THE IBA ride 11,000mi in 11 days. think John Bolin won the IBA in like 9 days somethin hrs. now thats insane endurance rideing. can you say sleep dep??
ive done some long (for me) rides 1000-1300mi in a day,do it 3 or 4 times a year, and i can say at this point in my life i have no urge to be an active member in the IBA. but to each his own, think i'll just ride.
i dont feel the need to pay money for an atta-boy from some stranger with a computer.
