Been using my Larin jack for over 8 years with no problems, spring loaded locks on each side, only time I strap the bike down is when removing tires !!!

Had my bike slide while I was polishing it. I leaned on the seat as I was getting up and the bike slid on the jack. I thought it was going to come off. Taught me a lesson.

If they are smart they won't admit it here.

I figure 1500 lb. capacity shoyld be enough to hold up my just under 900 lb scooter. As already mentioned, the Red $50 Craftsman jack has been doing a good job for a few years so far. I don't move the Ultra Classic around and I don't remove the wheels. Imostly use the jack for cleaning and generally to get a good look at thr bottom side.

Never a jack, was always too cautious.Once with bike strapped to table and lowering it,forgot a stool, table bike and all tipped over onto toolbox.Only damage was broken clutch lever, and dent in rear fender. No damage to tool box.

OK I will.
I posted this some time back but had the bike up on the Craftsman red jack. The tires were just off the ground, jack not locked.
I had to go to the auto store for something and when i got back the bike was laying at a 45 deg angle against the jack handle.
Luckiy the gas tank was barely nicked at the the very end by the seat, cant see it if your not looking for it.The stock air filter cover had a 50 cent piece ding in it and the ProPipe has a very small ding.
Traded a 18 pack of bud light for a good used cover.
So what did I learn, always lock the jack!
