Default Thumbs up for the Cruise Buddy...

I've had the "cruisemate", a simple $20.00 screw on lever for the star wheel on my 06" Softail for 3 years & it works like a charm for right had relief or even adjusting the right mirror at 70mph without letting off the throttle. I got one for the 09 Heritage & could not get it to hold the throttle in the locked "on" position & fully release it in the off position with the limited travel range between the idle cables. I switched out the star wheel. the friction shoe & spring, adjusted it 20 times & I couldn't get it to work. So I broke down & got the cruisemate, http://www.mcgcustom.com/, put it on this weekend it works like a charm. The install was simple & the increased travel range did the trick. Plus it mounts lower then the others I've seen getting it out of the way of thick gloves. At $90.00 it's a bit pricey but it is made very well, looks good & makes it easy to pick my nose with my fingerless gloves on my right hand at any speed.

Nice item.
