I keep mine in my wallet. Don't want it going with the bike if it ever goes anywhere without me.

Registration and proof of insurance is in my wallet.

As for what to do with no saddle bag you will need a backpack or some bag you can bungie on the bike.

DC is 100% correct!!!! As a cop I am telling you they can do some tricky stuff with the registration and insurance and stuff. I carry mine in my wallet. That way I always have it ready to hand over and no one else can get it. Also just because you have it in a saddle bag. remember they can take a saddle bag so quick it would make your head spin. Then you have to get new bags and new registration
