dont use Green, its for permanent stuff...rule of thumb....red if it spins....use a dab more blue and it'll be just fine...clean the threads before reinstallation tho

Beverly,
I'm not sure where you're thinking of using the locktite. On mine the shifter peg shaft is splined and the sifter is held on with a hex head set srew which lines up with a groove on the shaft. I've got blue locktite on that.

I'm not sure, but that could be just a lubricant. Don't laugh, but have you tasted it? Locktite has a different, kinda sweet taste to it, very different than lubricants. Mash your knuckles and pinch your fingers as much as I do and you get to tast all kinds of stuff.

You are just toooo funny....I hadn't really thought of tasting it but next time I put a screw in my mouth I'm going to remember this post and be trying to see what it tastes like

Been so long since I wrenched anything I'll be lucky if I don't put this stuff on upside-down and backwards (hehehe not that bad really)

UPS delivered one box but not my pipes[:@] They are delivering up til 9pm tonight! Need the pipes before I can put the bags on so I'm doing the pegs and such in the mean time. Hubby is going to help with the pipes (He also gets off the tough bolts for me).
