My girlfriend and I thinking about riding up Saturday and making it a day trip.

 

A group of us are coming up from Delaware for the day on Saturday.

starts this wednesday, the reenactment is the weekend too so it ought to be crazy here. Last year they estmated 13000 bikes

 

I've been going for the last couple years. I'm going to by-pass this year because of all the re-enactments that will be taking place. The traffic was bad enough just for bike participation. You get all those spectators up there for the battlefield, it's going to be down right dangerous. One person I work with was telling me that his dad, a former fire policeman, was already asked to help out with the traffic control because they are expecting an enormous amount of traffic over the weekend.
