Store my flstsi 2003 in a mini storage unit
No power outlet. I pull battery and place it under the hood of my 1989 chevy pick-up which i drive 3-4 times a week. bungi straped battery to battery in my truck and ran a small wire from hot to hot and neg to neg. Battery is always charged and always with me when i am at the whse. I don't cover my bike but it is inside a unit. Works for me may not for anyone else. good luck guys

+1 on the DELTRAN battery tender plus, they have great service and a real good warranty program. You want a "smart" tender, one that goes in to float mode after charging the battery to a specific voltage. The float mode monitors the charge and automatically charges at a predetermined drop in voltage.

If you have a cycle gear near you they stock several good ones. HD makes a great one as well, although it is overpriced and made by another manufacturer.

Here is one from Batteries Plus you can order on line. I bought one last year and it worked Great. http://www.batteriesplus.com/pc-3612...T021-0128.aspx
It looks just like the one from Harley, only it comes with the quick disconnect. You don't have to pay another $8. I have heard a lot of people say they are good to put on the bikes while they are in storage.

I second the Battery Tender Jr. Plenty powerful for motorcycle battery and won't overcharge. Cheap too. Even if you ride regularly, it will assure you always start with a full charge.
