Battery Tender.....

This is usually where someone comes in with a rant against Wally World and anyone who shops there...none of those guys have bought me anything from another source yet, so I don't pay much attention to 'em...

Google it. Few years ago I found the bigger Battery Tender (1.25 amp) online for the price that HD sells the little wallmount version. Heavier duty. The Tender "jr" that I used to have failed after a few years. Just make sure whatever brand you get is capable of shutting itself off when the battery doesn't need it. Plug it in and forget it.

I bought a Battery tender years ago. Before HD started to carry them. I got it from a antique car battery dealer at a swap meet. I had read article about them in a cycle mag. I have had it for over 16 years and it still works fine. I ride a 87 FLHTC with lights, radio etcs I like to know my battery is good to go. You get what you pay for. I use the plug set up. I would search, don't buy it from HD you can get a better deal if you look.

Deltran battery tenders are top notch. The company has great customer service as well. I've had the same unit for over a decade. Called them up when I got my last bike because I needed an adapter due to the fact that my unit was so old. They sent the adapter for free. If I ever need another one, they'll get my business. Also, I believe the HD battery tenders are made by Deltran.
