Skills Improvement
Today at our WOF chapter we had a skills improvement day. Set up all the cones in the fashion that they do in the "Ride like a pro" DVD.
What a challenge some of that was.
I really feel like I picked up a notch on my skil level.
Here I am going through part of the cones.

Here are a couple more pics. One of me about to do the 2x4 takeoff and one of us getting ready to eat at Backyard Burgers.

'grats on the improvement. That 'cone' thing (at the MSF) always got me. I'd get thru perfect 1 time and the next I'd mow the last one down.

RE: Skills Improvement
Actually sounds like a blast. What is the 2x4 take off supposed to improve?
Use of the friction zone on the clutch, so you can go real slow. You let the clutch out too fast and the 2x4 moves. Object is to go over the 2x4 without moving it.

I think that is really a good idea to do. Would be fun and really good for all riders and passengers to be a part of. I know our HOG group always has practise days prior to the state rally and are a blast. It is fun and it is so good that the more experienced riders sharing secrets of the trade.
