Who's rode the most lifetime miles?
Kind of curious, i bet it would be some older than dirt BMW rider somewhere. I can only count around 275,000 since 1969. If i ever meet any one who's rode over 500,000, i'm buying him a beer.

Former Wis. State senator Dave Zien has a million miles on one bike! Hard to believe, but it is supposed to be all documented and legit. Saw him at the Milwaukee Rally over Labor Day weekend on Water St.and he drew quite a crowd.

I've been riding for 28 years, owned 6 bikes. For many years I worked as a M/C courier, averaged 60-70,000 miles a year. I commute 100+ miles daily, rain, snow or shine. My 06 XL has 105,000 kms.(63,000 miles) on the clock. I'm somewhere above 600,000 miles.

Please send the beer 'Overnight Express'....
I've averaged around 20,000 miles a year (probably more during some years) since 1970, so that would come out to at least 750,000 miles in the saddle, give or take.
But I'm free to ride whenever I want, never had what most would call a "real job" where I was required to spend 8 hours a day, 5 days a week cooped up somewhere... Much easier to accumulate a lot of miles when you aren't limited to only riding on evening, on weekends, or during a couple weeks of vacation away from work each year.
That might sound like a lot of miles, but many I've ridden with over the years would no doubt have many more miles on Harley's than myself.

I won't stand a chance in this fibbing contest, but here goes:
A tad over 100,000 dirt-oriented miles spread over something like 25 bikes and 40 years.
Around 15,000 miles aboard my first-ever road bike. i.e. My HD Deuce that was purchased in November of '07. (Had 3,000 on the odo when received, now somewhere in the 18,000 range.)
Dirt, USFS forest roads, hiways, twisty blacktop, whatever... it's all good!
