Default HD Credit Card

I haven't been able to seem to get a solid answer on this question. Even when calling the number on the CC application.. Do you earn 1 point for every dollar put on the card, no matter where you use it? OR.. do you only earn points on what you put on it at the HD stores? Do anybody have a HD CC and know the answer to this? $25 off for every 2500 points just doesn't seem like a good deal if the $2500 has to be put on the card at a HD Shop..

Yep it's 1 point or $1 rebate for every $100 you spend wherever on whatever.

You can request a certificate each time you reach 2500 pts which equals to a cert for $25.

The certs can only be used at H-D dealer and any $ amount over the cert amount must be put on the same H-D credit card. You cannot use the cert and cash or cert and check or cert and other credit card etc.

Excellent, thanks for the info. The funny thing is the lady on the phone I called from the number on the application told me it was only money spent at HD Shops that you got the points for.. Glad I asked. I will go on-line and apply..

Everybody is correct so far. Just don't request your $25 Chrome Cash certificates until you are ready to spend them. Once issued, they are good only for 90 days. I usually wait until I want to get something that costs several hundred dollars. My goal is to have enough to buy a new bike. However, the earned ones expire in three years if not requested.

Have earned 5,449 points on my HD card. What dollar amount does it generate to ?. I would appreciate if someone here could give me an idea.

I'm thinking about getting Chrome Forks installed on my Ultra next Spring which would cost me about $550.

Thanks,

AB
