As everyone says it is a point for every dollar so it is 1% back for all your spending. And the $25 gift certificates are like case in any Harley shop and can be used for anything. Not a bad deal if you use it for all your everyday spend and pay at the end of the month. Adds up to some nice free dollars.

Thanks,

Don't know how other dealers do it, but we have a customer account system as well. If you return an item, you don't get cash for it, you get a store credit and that credit gets listed under your name (account) in the computer. Using that same system, folks come in with chrome bucks as well as gift certificates and pay on their accounts. That way it doesn't matter about the expiration dates because they simply put the money on their accounts. Then when they come back in some other time they just purchase items and tell us they have money on their account, etc.

no big deal if you pay it off every month. I put everything except junk food I buy at the 7-11 on the card. I think I'm gonna start making my bike payment and car payment with it as well and just pay off the monthly balance. Chrome cash comes in handy for oil filters, gaskets or new fingerless gloves.

Unless you pay off your balance every month, I wouldn't go anywhere near a card with 15% interest...just sayin'...

i pay my bills online, so i use the hd card for everything (electric, phone, cable, etc) then i just pay it off when the statement comes in, so i don't worry so much about the interest rate. the only problem i have is they keep raising my credit limit. went from 2500, to 12,500 in 2 years i think they're trying to tempt me to buy a bike with it so i have to pay finance charges

another note, the chrome cash certificates are good at zanotti's. you just have to let them know up front that you are going to use them, and then endorse and mail them into them. between their usual discount, and the chrome cash, i've said quite a bit over the past couple of years.

Greetings,

I use mine for everything but pay it off at the end of the month...In fact going to get a few certificates and buy some new boots with them! And no, you don't have to use the credit card for the difference, at least at my dealership. I've paid the difference in cash with no issues at all.
