SEST Tuner Question
I bought a new 2010 SE pro super tuner (part #32109-08A) online and recieved it yesterday. I was expecting it to have a CD with it to load on a laptop. I haven't opened the box (because it says no refund if seal is broken) but it is way too small to contain a CD. I'm guessing the package only contains the interface box with the red button on it. I know I still need to buy the download cable but do I still need to buy a CD to use this on my laptop?
Basically my question is: What are you suppose to get for $459.95?

The unit.
The cable is sold separately for a few bucks, as is the CD.
This because many people buy just the unit and have it installed by the dealer.
I bought the unit and then the cables (there are two: unit to bike and unit to PC) and the CD.

With the newest version SERT called the Race Tuner Pro....Thats it...just the tuner. The rest is extra.
Let the dealer tune it on the dyno......They will use their CD and cables.

Just looked at mine... its an 32107-01G SERT unit. so its older, dated 4/26/07. Which is when they put it in.
has a ECM adapter, and a cd that says the cd contains; User Manual, Tuning Mode, Data Mode, Acrobat Reader.. It looks like the cd has never been opened.
In big letter across outside of the box says Do Not Lose...Save in big red letters...
Sons new SSERT box is smaller installed this spring on his 09 NT, the dealer done his also is all I know..

send it back and get the power commander it comes with everything you need and is alot cheaper.Look at fuel moto a site sponser good price and customer serv

Thanks for the input. I plan on playing with it myself and then eventually take it for a dyno tune to see how close I got it.
I bought it on ebay for $285 shipped. It's still sealed and has never been opened. This guy must have found a box that fell off of a truck because he's already sold around 30 and still has more.

ive been told the new one you can calibrate the speedo where you cant on the old one.
