Who else is down on thier yearly average mileage because of the weather?

If it were not for the one long trip I took I would be way down. The weather in Ohio this year was bad for riding. I also rode in more rain this year than I ever did.

It was the first year I spent more in payments than in accessories. The weather made us busy at work so I'm not going to complain that my mileage suffered...I'd rather work to pay for them then lose them.

We're down 3-4K for the season. A lot of it was weather related but we also had our daughter and son in-law here for Australia for 2 months. My wife thought it would be nice if we stuck around part of that time.

I'm down I'm sure, but that's because I am working 2 weeks on, 2 off, cause of this Michigan economy. I have a 40+ mile commute when I work.
When I'm not working I have been knocking off the home projects.
I know I should be out riding.

I'm actually over my average by a little bit this year (12,000 mi.). Being back on an Electra Glide has definately helped in dealing with the rain and cold. Still would have prefered better weather though.

Living in BC, we have 5 months a year of good riding and 3 months of pretty short local trips - just far enough to get the cobwebs out. I normally do between 12 and 15 thousand miles - last year did 19 thou miles as I did a trip across the US. Long winter last year and started late this spring. Didn't think I would hit my normal 15 thou miles this year but already at 19. I guess if the season is shorter, we just have to ride harder in the good months.
