Same way in Tennessee Jim, but not in New York "Eye Protection Required by law" might save folks a ticket if they are passing through New York, that's what's great about that link you can check each state you ride in for their motorcycle laws.

Theo you didn't get a ticket did you??

The two in the front don't even have their helmets strapped on either,, yeah they must be pissed off about riding them, hope their boss ain't a member here.

Ever get stuck with your Harley in standstill NYC traffic on a hot summer day? On those days, scooters look mighty good!
I'm 20 miles north of NYC and cops ride bicycles and Harleys in the town - the Harley's look better! lol

I been to NYC one time for 1 day and it felt like a month. They get what they deserve for living there.

Retired NYPD here they are not part of the Highway Patrol, they are most likely assigned to Traffic Divison a completly different unit.

Highway Officer's still wear high boots and leather jackets and tapered motorcycle breeches.

Looks to me like they need to walk a bit. almost all of them are pushing 300lbs! those poor scooters
