I doubt that thy would pull you over just for being on a bike...even in California.
But if someone does get pulled and can't produce a valid MC license, then they deserve the ticket.

Yep, and that's as it should be...if a guy doesn't have an endorsement, it's most likely he's not insured either...we don't need jokers like that on the street..

Is there a size displacement law in California? I thought if it was freeway legal you needed a M1. If not you needed to be 16 years old. I was told recently that you don't need but a car license for a trike. I hope so, because the guy riding the trike has only a C car license, that told me that.

I haven't dealt with the manuals in a long time, since the past two or three licence renewals have been by mail. No test. I hate the California motorcycle driving test. I took mine on a Heritage and the keyhole was tough.

.
In Ohio , you can get an endorsment for 3 wheels , but you can't ride 2 wheels . If you get the 2 wheel endorsment , you are allowed to ride on 3 anytime .

Take the CA MSF course and you can bypass the DMV road test. Just the written test is required.

As far as the crackdown goes, I say more power to them. We have some real jerks, w/o the endorsement, on the roads. I don't mind being pulled over for a license check. Now, if I get a fix-it ticket, well then that's a different story all together....
