I own this jacket. Great quality, horse hide is a different look and old school.

Hey, Ratkiller, thanks for the link.

I've never heard of LegendaryUSA before but I think we'll be doing business real soon. I've been looking for an American made jacket and the $75 trade-in sounds like a good place for my 30+ year old HD AMF jacket that seems to have shrunk.

I should have seen that one coming. You know what I mean though. Are these horses being killed for their skin or being raised and harvested for lots of different things like "glue".

I know where and why cow and buffalo hide comes from. Just wondering if it's the same for the horses.

I know in the old west days they used to eat their horses on the trail sometimes. Just had to be done to survive I guess.

The say they are the most popular leather site, I have seen several positive post on their products. I just ordered a pair of new chaps from them.
Men's Advanced Dual Comfort Chaps
My new chaps arrived in less then a week. They aren't as thick as Fox Creek's chaps but not as thin as my $39 pair I had before.
Fit was right on, I ordered my pants size. I like the 'Dual Comfort' on these chaps. Had elastic on the inter-thighs with just enough give to make putting them on easier. It has a full nylon liner ( not insulated) and for Arkansas this works. I believe if I was further north I'd look for a zip out insulated liner.

Compared to chaps that I have found locally, they are worth the $70.

Try EBAY. I was able to find a HD jacket for $110.00 ,,, $400+ in a store and its brand new wore 1x by a weekend warrior. Probally one of the better deals I've got from ebay in a while.

They have pages of chapps.

I paid $170 for my HD chapps at a dealer on a clearance rack.... they were originally 3oo something. They are actually a little heavy but enough protection will never be a problem.

Ive noticed alot of guys dont like HD leather but all 3 of my pcs (i have a vest also $70 clearance) are nice. I just took my time and didnt settle,,, waited until i found what i was lookin for at a good price.
