Sure am glad I was wearing my sun glasses...because I got smacked by the mother of all bugs.....hit me square on the left lens with bug guts spattered all that side of the helmet and my cheek.....sure was a juicy thing...smelled bad too.

Whew!

But I know there's better stories out there.....let'em rip!

 

Riding along on a back road in Johnston County, NC... All of the sudden I get this whicked burning sensation in my right arm. Look down and I am covered in some kinda yellow flourescent goo... EVERYWHERE on my arm. Looked like something from Aliens. Hurt like hell too.

 

June bug to the chest. Ouch!!!

 

June bug to the eyes and half the face!!! Thank God for Goggles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL!!

 

Went tooling the farm roads in Tarrant County, Texas. I'm doing about 40... I saw this little dot in the distance... watched it go right up my left t-shirt sleeve. It was one of those big red hornets. I damn near killed myself by grabbing the thing through the shirt and hobbling off the side of the road. Then I ripped off the shirt and began stomping on it. I can only imagine how it looked to passing drivers... some mad-man on the side of the road with his motorcycle laying on it's side and he's beating the hell out of a poor defensless t-shirt.

I just didn't wanna get stung in that soft skin on the inside of the armpit. Nope... not gonna happen.

 

Some kind of black bug crawled inside my swimsuit today while I was laying out and bit me on my boobie.....glad there weren't any neighbors out because that top came OFF!!! YUCK!!!

 

Well, if a bug climbed in Shell's suit and bit her, it might make her happy! About busted a gut reading about the T shirt beating. When I was 16 and riding my Honda, had a wasp land on my left thigh, stung the s**t out of me before I could brush it away. Luckily, was in town and on a 25mph road or I'd have lost it for sure.

 

First day I had the bike... going home from the dealer... I turned the corner on to the little highway that goes to my house and got hit by a (big) carpenter bee right between the eyes! Thank goodness for face shields...luckily it splatted enough so I could see.

2 weeks later went through a swarm of bees.

Couple days ago...tiny little wasp like thing went up my pant leg and stung me 4 times...oh the dance I was doing...stripped in the garage.

Yes stinging bugs ARE out to get me!!!

 

It's weird, I have eaten at least 20 bugs while riding, by chance, and have eaten fried grasshoppers, and chocolate covered bugs by choice, and they don't bug me. But if I see a cockroach I scream like a schoolgirl. Well not exactly a schoolgirl, but a girl.
