So far I've been lucky to have just had a couple of big beetles/june bugs bounce off my face. Those things hurt when they hit you in the lip though!

When one flew in my girlfriend's ear when we were riding. She started screaming hysterically and I had to pull over. The thing was still alive and buzzing inside her ear, but by her dance moves and screaming bloody murder, you'd a thought it was tunnelling into her brain. I told her to take her finger and push in on her ear and try to kill it, but that didn't work. Next, I picked up a stick and stuck that in her ear too, but that didn't work either. Finally, the thing just flew away and I started LMDAO! She was somewhere between a laugh and a cry herself.

 

Did I tell you I was a Big Black Bug specialist and some of them are quite dangerous , you should have called me and let me identify it and remove it safely from your Booby , I do this as a free courtesy service. Just so you know next time.[sm=drooldude.gif]

 

It always happens , Befor I ride. I always clean my windshield from the previous ride.
I usually dont get a whole lot of bugs til it gets dark. But every time I ride I wont be on the scoot for a mile befor some big *** yellow gutted bug will hit the wind screen right in my line of site...Wont hit anymore the rest of the afternoon. [:'(]

 

About 18 years ago, I was riding at night, no helmet. no windshield. Was talking to my girlfrined who was on the back and a bug of unkown variety few into my my mouth so fast it went over the tongue, flitted around and then right down my throat. Didn't get the name or license plate number, but I think it was a moth. girlfriend on the bag thought it was a real kick. Keep riding is about all I could do!

 

Riding back to Dallas from Texarkana. Was getting hit by pine tar coming off the trees and when I switched to the outer lane something yellow and very juicy whacked the right lens of the shades. Mouth was shut but the splatter covered my lips too Think it was a yellow jacket.

Going to Las Vegas about a year ago (in the cage) we hit some kind of blood sucking fly? swarm time. I drive a silver car and when we stopped for gas it was red all over the front. Whatever they were they were swarming on the car eating the dead ones....it was really icky....so glad I was in the cage!! The dang things were all over the place for miles.
