Has anyone used the waterless Harley cleaner and polish? Good or bad results?

 

If you are talking about the stuff in the spray can, I use it on chrome only. When I use it on painted surfaces it seems to streak. Does a great job cleaning up chrome though. JR.

 

Yes that is what happened to me. Haved used a product called Opti-gloss with great results. Having trouble finding it.

 

works great for me ,also lemon pledge .heard about it on here and tried it and it works real good

 

it works OK as a cleaner, seems to cut the bugs pretty good on the windshield. Honda polish or pledge is a better polish IMO.

 

Only use it on the windshield because of the streaking issue mentioned earlier. I like Meguiar's Quick Detail for the rest of the bike better.

 

i thought it sucked. not worth the money, imo. i usually go by the metric dealer and pick up a can or two of the 'original spray cleaner and polish' aka hondabrite (before they changed the forumula).

to get the bugs off, i use a 50/50 mix of peroxide and water in a spray bottle. takes them off super easy, then i put a coat of polish over it to help make it 'slicker' so bugs don't stick.

 

I thought about giving an "it sucked" , but went with OK since it did cut bugs..

I haven't bought anymore since the first try.
I also use peroxide to cut the bugs and then follow up with Honda polish or Pledge
