Bad Harley Expierince. What's your take on it?

In light of all I've read here, and since I'm a New Owner in Waiting, I have a question about all this: HOW and WHERE can I get Maintenance, Troubleshooting, Repair, etc manuals for a 2010 Fatbob?
I've been in Aeronautical Maintenance for the Navy for almost 3 decades, and doing mechanical and electrical work is fun to me.
The dealer doing my bike delivery in April is supposed to be top notch in North Florida (St. Augustine Harley Davidson), but since I'm new to all this I'd rather be safe than sorry. If nothing else I can double check the work done with my books. Right? BH.

Do the dealers hassle you when you go to buy the manuals? I've heard some will refuse to sell them to you. I suspect it's a fear of lost Service Department business for them. Will MOCO sell you the books directly if it comes down to it?
Either way, I've got Google and Ebay if nothing else, right?

Thanks. I'm going to be checking up on that sooner than later.
