Help
I know that this quesiton has been ask and answered many times. But I need to know! Why would somebody choose a Dyna over a Softail and vis versa? Is it the ride, style, comfort, ect... I currently a ride and my wife is not interested in long distance riding, maybe around town. So, the bike I want will be used around town two up riding and solo long distance riding, I'm 6' 190lbs.

RE: Help
William,
This is a very good question. Up to a couple of years ago I would have said you were better off with the Dyna's rubber mounted motor but now with the softail's counter balanced motor it is as smooth as silk.
You have the old school people who want exposed rear shocks then you have the real old school people who like the hardtail look of the softail.
I myself prefer the look and ride of the new softails. The Heritage and the Fatboy would be my two picks but there are many other models to choose from.
Both are very good bikes. Ride both and choose what's best for you.

RE: Help
I will agree with Mike, they all look good. I chose the Springer Softail because of the looks of the springer front forks. I don't feel hardly any vibration on the ride. I didn't road test the other models, I just knew that I wanted the Springer and I waited until I could get her. The ideas that you commented about are true. Ride, Style, Comfort, and soforth
