Solid State Cover
I joined this forum for the purpose of replying to this tread. Some of the comments remind me of the type of people that hate Harleys but have never owned one. A Solid State Cover is the type of product that bikers buy and wear once or twice.
After getting blasted in the nostril (while wearing a bandanna) I decided to declare war on all flying insects. I bought one of these masks and have been wearing it for over a year. I live in Southern California and ride nearly every day, rain or shine, hot or cold. The mask does not cause my glasses to fog. The nose piece fits perfectly on bridge of my glasses. It is well ventilated. The mask is very comfortable.
Like a lot of dudes, I used to wear a skull bandanna. 'Tim the Toolman Taylor' and 'Wild Hogs' put an end to that. But I still see a lot of those skull bandannas out on the road.
If your going to wear a half helmet this mask will keep the bees and bugs out of your grill.
