Any recommendations for a CB?
Looking for a small portable CB for use on a bike. Needs to have remote mic and speaker jacks for use with a headset.

Because he wants one.
One of my bros has some sorta Midland, kinda *hand-held* type. It also has weather channel crap on it.
He loves it for roadies. Mostly just the trucker channel, for *smokies*.

That way the real bikers can radio me at Starbucks when they are leaving the bar.
I want one that I can give to my wife (or anyone else I'm riding with). I have a CB on my Ultra, thought I might get some use out of it.

Are you looking for just bike to bike? Bike to rider communications? We got the Scala Q3 and just love them. Tried the Midland hand held did not work very well on the bikes for us. Someone said that we needed a stronger antenna

I dont know exactly how much room you have 4 a cb, but if you can fit it a Cobra 29 is a great cb. I run one in my pickup that has been peaked and tuned and get 60 watts out of it. I also run a Glaxy 98 peaked/tuned/with an echo board and 500 watt texas star linear amp in my pete. For the price, Cobra 29 is the best out there, an idea may be go to a local truck stop near you and ask who wants to sell theirs. Many good deals out there, Id just stop by the cb shop to have it cheaked out just in case.
