Default New Bike Shop in town..Wonder if these guys will have problems??

Couple of guys opened up a Bike Shop locally called "One Percent" I went to check it out yesterday and the first thing I noticed as I walked in was the red and white checkered floor?? Didn't have much in stock yet but I talked to one of the owners and he tells me they've only been open two weeks and the LEOs (of all variaties) have been in there asking what their "affiliation" is?? He seems like a really nice guy says he can't even remember the last time he got a speeding ticket much less being "Affiliated' with anything. I don't really see this guy as being a true 1% er...So you think people will take this too seriously and give them problems? I really hope not because there is only one other Independent Bike Shop in my area and competition is always good...

You don't even say where you are from?
Nobody cares about the floor.

It's a front shop. Plain and simple. You don't fly someone's colors in your shop and call it "one percent" for no reason. Sorry, but they have rules in that world and I would say this place would be seen as a "slap in the face" so to speak.

Good thing they didn't call it the Donut shop, just think of the Leo's that would have attracted?

You gotta give anyone credit trying to start a business like that in this economy.

We have a dammt good shop in Isanti, "Isanti Performance", 'bout the ONLY place you can walk in, and BUY ol' iron parts, GOOD, ol' iron parts. They do GREAT work, too. And they LOVE choppers.

Oh, did I forgit ta menshun, El Forasteros. Pat, the guy that runs it, is likewise, a GREAT guy. ALWAYS has time for ya, be it, 'in the shop', or 'on the street'.

Believe it or not, they DO have and run legitimate businesses. They LIVE in America, too.

BTW, IF they are STILL open, my guess is, YES, they are 'affiliated',

BUT THAT'S jus' a guess.
