Yesterday, the temps were just below freezing, blowing snow, the roads were wet because the ground is still warm. A recipie for ice, which spells disaster on a motorbike.

So this moring it was -10C (15F) and I decided for the very first time this year to leave the scooter at home and take the GD bus in to work. It was cold, but the roads were dry, no ice, no accumulated snow. I was kicking myself the whole way in, squashed in that stupid train with all those low life bus riders. It reminds me of a cattle car. The worst thing is, I have no wheels downtown, so I have to ride it home again.

I am going to move to Florida, then I can ride everyday, well except when there's a hurricane blowing in. hmmm Cali? earthquakes. Texas? murders. Mexico! kidnappings. hmmm, maybe I'll just stay where I am and drive the truck downtown in the winter and pay for parking.

Let me rub it in a little. 58 in the morning mid seventies in the afternoon. Leaves are all changing color. Cool enough for the bike to ride nice! Lot of nice winding mountain roads. Ya'll need to move to North Ga.
Perfect riding weather!

All I can say is , being in Pennsylvania I don't know whether I could
take the heat you Southern folk have to deal with ,, but ,,, in about
2-3 months I sure would love to switch places with ya all and see who
breaks first and wants to go home !

Somehow, fall missed Central Texas. It is almost wintertime here. Lows tonight are to be 38-40. Hell, it should still be in the 60's for an overnight low for early October.
