packing an ultra - strapping stuff on bag guards
this is really about packing an ultra
how many of you actually pack something along the saddlebags side guards. i know you can get things with bags that go on the front of the baddlebag guards.
but i am talking about strapping something along the bag guards. maybe like tent poles or something else long and thin.
if you do, what is it and how does it work?

My guess is as long as it's light, you could get away with it.. personally I don't do it that way but that's just me. I did get a tour pack luggage rack and that seems to work very well.. not much help I know.. good luck

When we went to Mena, some old dudes had those nylon fold up chairs strapped onto their bag guards. Heck of an idea I thought.

Taht is where my folding chairs will be when I go to Daytona. To much weight up on the Tourpak makes you unstable at a stop. I try to pack all the heavy stuff down low on the seat and in the hard bags.
