Made the obligatory T-shirt stop today in Dubai on my way to Iraq. They have a small dealership on Zayed Rd. T-shirt prices were about the same as USA.

Pretty crazy though...Dubai.

 

I have a shirt from there that my brother picked up for me when he worked there. He said they only had two bikes for sale at that time. And thank you for your Service!!!!

 

I had seen someone wearing a harley shirt that was from Fallujah, Iraq. I don't know if it was real or not but just as fun

 

Thanks for your service! There is a big market overseas still for all things Harley. If I remember correctly, overseas sales were only down like 4% for Harley.

I just read an article in my NRA magazine about the King of ****** vacationing in the US doing a cross country tour on a Harley. The picture looked like he was on a Road King. Wonder if the Fly and Ride program works overseas.

Spent 6 months in the UAE and was surprised to see a decent number of HD riders. Lots of long stretches of open road, good one to take is the trip up to Fujairah right by the Gulf of Oman.

 

Co-worker bought shirts, for those of us that paid for them, for "Harley Davidson of Kuwait" at the PX while serving there about three years ago. Only HD tee shirt I have that was . . . . . . .

There is a lot of custom shirts that say Harley Davdison of Iraq and others, but most of them are custom shirts or someone made them without HD endorsement. I was in Iraq all over the country for 13 months, Kuwait and Qatar. They all had HD shirts, but none of them had dealers lol.

 

I got one from the dealer in Doha, Qatar. They had three bikes and were all a year or two old.
