Dealer can't fix it...what to do?

Yes, that dealer done had a shot at it, and said it wasn't right, but they couldn't fix it. ........... I would stay far away from that place!

I think most of our Harleys make more noise than we think they should. Primary chain, lifters, valves, loud shifts. Don't get paranoid. Just don't abuse it.

Again, thanks for the sound advice. The next dealer is about 45 minutes away but both are owned/run by the same guy.

Question: When the dealer enters information into their computer, is that info available to all dealers? Or is it just the factory...or do they even have access?

I think most of our Harleys make more noise than we think they should. Primary chain, lifters, valves, loud shifts. Don't get paranoid. Just don't abuse it.
Yeah, I hear what you are saying but this noise is new. It didn't always sound like that, so I'm thinking there is something wrong somewhere.

Go ahead and take it to Lebanon. Same owner yes, but different mechanic and maybe a better result. At least I hope so.

+2 I have used 3 different Hd dealer on work, not for not fixing an issue just reg services and more options on winter specials.
