well, I haven't been yet, but do plan on attending next June's Republic Of Texas Rally in Austin, TX. Been doing some research on it and it appears to be HUGE and has a lil something for everyone ............they have a website and also a load of video's on YouTube.

I mentioned east coast sturgis which is wild. I went to a bike show last weekend and got some flyers of more east coast rallies. one is called thunder in the valley Johnstown Pa, and one is rally on the river also PA. never been but looked promising.

We've had fun at Panama Cities Thunder Beach rallies. the city treats you pretty well the cops keep a very low profile it takes a lot to get their anger up. look up thunder beach if you want to find out more.

What's up? You don't like kids? Just go to a strip joint for crying out loud! I like T&A as much as the next guy but some people want their kids to experience certain events like Sturgis while they are still alive. I do not see a problem with kids at rallies but that is my opinion. Go to the after hours events and get your fill there. I guess I am getting old now and I appreciate the rides at these events and the look on a kids face and the joy that it brings them. My nephews and son went to Sturgis with me one year and it was the best damn time I ever had. They enjoyed the hell out of it. There is plenty of what you seek behind closed doors where kids are not allowed to go.

I have 3 kids ages 11,16 & 19. The wife and I spend 98% of our waking hours with them (well except the 19 ear old who is at college). We don't take them out drinking or partying. They have seen us doing that enough.
Why anyone would take their kids to a motorcycle rally or on a carribean cruise ( I have a friend who does that)is way beyond me. When I want to go have a good time I sure don't want the kids tagging along.
