Nice job Pops. The inmates are scared of a crazy man and you just proved to them just how crazy you are.

Rock on.

Your a brave man Pops. My criteria is above 32-degrees, and thats cold. 24 is real cold especially without heated gloves.

Just got back from a ride from BC to Calif last week. 100 deg in some parts of Calif but had ice on the bikes a couple of nights in Ore mountains. Left one morning when it was 27 deg. Fortunately that didn't last long as my cheeks were getting a little frosty. I'll pass on 24.

Hey kk6pg - You may not be aware of this living in LA and all, but if it is 24 and wet, it's ahhh still just as cold but the roads get reeely slick . . . just sayin

Pops, that's nutz, 24 degrees. I would have hopped in the car and went to work not enough clothes could get me on it at 24.

Be my guest.

Momma and I were at a cancer benefit for a riders wife, in Lindstrom. That's 65 miles. Weather was sunny, low 60's upper 50's. When we left there to head home at 10:30 or so, 28*s and dropping. Even WITH all my gear, we hit every exit going north, that had a Holiday station, that's ALL but one !!!! That last 17 miles from the last stop, home, felt like an Iron Butt run, it NEVER ENDED !!!

The "Coldest" I ever rode in, was -7. It was Christmas of 72. I was home on leave (SoDak), there was little, if any snow, a cold front came thru, temps dropped, but streets were dry. My brother and I rode the 19 blocks to Foley's Bar, had a couple o' kanooperz, and then rode back to Mom and Dad's, jus' to say, "We Did It"

We had snow flurries mixed with the drizzle, just at daybreak, this morn. It's 47, heavy overcast, right now. We are 'debating', ride or cage, to St Cloud (65 mi), for the BPM MC Party, at 4:00. She said she WANTS to be home, by 7:00, sunset.
WHAT SUN, DEAR ?!?!?!?!?

Me?? As much as I like to ride 'to' MC Parties, I mean, that is WHY they have 'em, I be ready to cage it. These oldt bonez jus' don't handle it as good as they used to once was !!!

So, AGAIN, be my guest.

The really strange thing was that only my fingertips were cold! The fairing makes a huge difference.
