Ok heres the issue........I have an 87 sporty and need new footpegs. For some reason all of the aftermarket pegs have the wrong male/female set up. I hate the original pegs, big and clunky, want to find some small, nice pegs, but seem to have a hard time finding some that will work without some type of adapter. Any ideas?

You might try to have a local welding shop or independent bike shop make you an adapter for your bike that will match up to stock pegs.

 

Do you have a pic of the stock pegs? I have a few sets of stock rider and passenger pegs around here. I'll be happy to give them to you if they fit.. Just pay for shipping.
