If I'm riding with a guy and he starts putting on some rubber gloves I'm outta there.

Great input from everyone, that's why I love these forums.........

Well now, as long as you're not riding bitch, it shouldn't bother you to much. LOL

Vice-grips and one of those muti tools with all the torx and allen wrenches you need..

Those vice grips always get loose in the bags though and start vibrating.

This is another good suggestion by Oldairboater. I haven't decided which one I wanted to use yet, but one will be added to my tool kit soon.

I,d definitely take a puncture repair kit. I used the type that seals and inflates your tyre, and it got me 250 miles home, in fact i left it as was until i swapped tyres 1000 miles later. In the dark in the middle of nowhere it was a great relief even though i had breakdown insurance, which is also recommended along with a torch.

Small tubes of Locktite, dielectric grease, crazy glue, zipties, bailing wire. Spare headlite bulb. waterweld putty (its like jb wels in putty form that can be installed under water and can be drilled, tapped and seals leaks). Thats all I can think of now.

250 miles isn't a trip, it's a lunch ride. Credit Card & cell phone.
